Active Older Adults

Todya's seniors are more health conscious than ever before. At the YMCA, we are making the health and fitness of our seniors a top priority by providing programs for the spirit, mind, and body. Daily physical activity is important and can be fun as well! Through group fitness classes on "land" and "water" that concentrate on mobility and flexibility, educational programs, social events, days trips, game days, and volunteer opportunities, the YMCA is bringing active older adults together for camaraderie, Fellowship and fun!

Current Programs/Events

Senior Water FItness
Join the YMCA Water Fitness & Aerobics Classes. Every morning more than 45 Active Adults join our qualified and Experienced instructors for a healthy impact aerobic excercise in our large indoor heated pool.
 
Group Fitness Programs
The JA Walters Family YMCA Branch offers more than 50 Group Fitness & Aerobic Classes Each Week. Open to all members of the YMCA Facility these classes range in several different types to fit everyones style and preferences.

Adults, Seniors, Youth and Teens alike are welcome to join our classes.
