Georgia Mountains YMCA Programs
Membership
The YMCA is a membership-based charitable organization. Our mission is to support individuals to reach their highest potential and to develop in spirit, mind and body. All of our programs and services are developed with our mission at the center along with our core values of respect, responsibility, caring, honesty and faith.
The YMCA is affordable to all through the Open Doors Program in which membership and program fees are based on your household income. In addition the YMCA offers financial assistance to those in need through the generous contributions of YMCA supporters and community partners.
It is easy to join. Just visit the YMCA and meet with one of our friendly staff and they will guide you through the process. Initial fees include a one-time joiners fee and pro-rated membership fee which is calculated based on the next draft date. You have the option to pay the annual fee or sign up for the monthly bank draft. Joiner and Membership fees are based on the Open Door Sliding Scale. There are no contracts and your membership can be cancelled at any time with a 30 day notice. You can also sign up online: Membership Form 
As a YMCA Facility Member you will have full access to all ammenities including an indoor family fun pool, 25 yard 6 lane lap pool, 7,000 sq. ft. wellness center, lounge area/food court, lifefitness equipment with Fitlinxx technology, Chapel, 2,000 sq.ft. group fitness center,sauna, steam room, whirlpool, 3 indoor basketball courts, free child watch/kid's club, and locker rooms for individuals/families.

Friday 5:00AM to 9:00PM
Saturday 8:30AM to 7:00PM
Sunday 1:00PM to 7:00PM

Join the JA WALTERS Family YMCA on 985 at 365/Howard Rd. This new 52,000 sq ft YMCA is equipped with state of the art Wellness Facility, 2 Swimming pools including: Lap Swim, and Family Water Park, 3 basketball Courts, Group Fitness Center, Child Watch (while you work out), locker rooms, Spinning Rooms, Private Fitness Rooms, Multi Purpose Rooms, Arcade and Family Center, and so much more.
Our MAXIMUM RATES are based on your household income. Let us tell you your price. The YMCA is hear to serve you and is committed to providing prices that fit your families income.
