Georgia Mountains YMCA Programs
After School
the Georgia Mountains YMCA after school program makes a real difference in the life of your child because the program focuses on the development of the whole child through character building activities. Your child learns social skills, works on homework, participates in physical activities, connects with positive adults, and strengthens lifelong habits. Studies show that children who participate in YMCA School-Age programs:- Are more cooperative as adults
- Are more likely to resolve conflicts by talking instead of hitting or fighting
- Improve their academic performance
- Become caring, responsible adults.
Program Options Descriptions- Full Time: Provide care for children Monday through Friday and including all minimum days, in-service days and designated school holidays with no additional charge.
- Part Time: Provide care for children on selected days that are designated at the time of enrollment. Children may attend the program on the designated days. Part time includes 2 or 3 day options.
- Daily Drop In: This is our most flexible option for families needing drop in care and those who do not need care on a regular basis. This plan does not include any in-service or designated school holidays. Parents may sign up for these days if space is available. There is a limited number of daily drop in spaces that will be available for the fall school year so register early!

Kids' Time Afterschool Program
Reserve your child's space for the 2010-2011 YMCA Kids' Time Afterschool Program! After reserving your child's place in the afterschool program, parents will have 3 opportunities that are listed below to complete all needed paperwork.
Reserving your child's space, does not guarantee registration. Please complete all registration paperwork that is required to register your child by August 1st to start on the FIRST day of school!
