Our Staff

Mike Brown is CEO & President of the Georgia Mountains YMCA serving 8 counties in the Northeast Georgia Community. This includes: Hall, White, Fannin, Union, Towns, Dawson, Gilmer and Lumpkin Counties. Mike is 36 years old and came to Georgia in January 2002. Mike has a combined YMCA service record of 18 years serving 5 YMCA associations in California, Houston and Georgia. Mike has his Masters in Human Services, from Springfield College. Mike’s role as a father, husband, and CEO are very important as he works to demonstrate a healthy balance in his life.p>

Kelly is the Program Director over 10 afterschool sites in the Hall County area.

Kelly has received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. She comes to the YMCA with over 7 years of experience in the human services and counseling field in the capacity of an adolescent addictions therapist, a 4th & 5th grade teacher, and a social worker. She enjoys working with children and their families, and believes that it is her passion and is what she is meant to do in life. In her spare time, Kelly loves spending time with her three “men” in her life, her husband Cedric, and their two boys, CJ and Bryce and she also enjoys singing.

Jonquise is currently a Program Director at the Hall County Community YMCA serving Afterschool and Day Camp in the Hall county. He has been working with the YMCA since 2003 working in day camp and Afterschool. Jonquise has served in positions as an Afterschool and Day Camp counselor, Assistant Director, Day Camp Director, And a Site Director of Day Camp. Working with families and this community is what he enjoys.
