Supporting You, Safely!

YMCA Members,

The YMCA is the leading nonprofit in strengthening communities, and this past year has only amplified that cause. We are excited to see increased activity throughout our facility and appreciate everyone who stayed with us during the pandemic.

As state restrictions are lifted, we will be making the following changes to our operations at the J.A. Walters’ facility effective Tuesday, May 11th, 2021:

  • We will discontinue temperature checks at the front entrance.
  • The steam room, sauna, and whirlpool will no longer need a reservation. We are increasing our capacity size to 4 (four) people for each area and this will be a first come first serve system.
  • Our Family Pool will be increased to 2 (two) family reservations per hour.
  • There will be a 3 foot spacing between wellness equipment allowing more equipment to be brought back on the wellness floor.
  • The Café will reopen and we will resume our coffee service.
  • Reservations will continue for the following: Child Watch, Group Fitness Classes, Family Pool, Basketball Courts, and Lap Lanes.
  • Our staff will be required to wear masks and we highly encourage our members to wear a mask as well.

Our Y will always work to ensure a safe and clean environment, and will do everything possible to make each of you feel welcomed. We look forward to seeing you soon!
