At our Y, Youth and Teens are encouraged to reach their full potential by mastering life skills needed to become positive adult citizens. By offering programs and activities that foster personal growth and awareness, we focus on developing youth and teens in a way that is specific to their individual need and interest. Achievers is a national college and career readiness program, delivered by the Y, which supports students in setting and reaching higher education and career goals.
We are currently offering this program to Chestatee Academy and North Hall Middle School students.
We will provide an environment that incorporates learning, skill development and social skills through our Y Achievers program. Homework assistance and specific skill development in areas such as college prep, fitness and sports will be available. There will be 2 tract options available. The program lasts from 3:30-6:00 PM Monday-Friday.
TRACT 1: $25 members/$30 non-members
5 days – YMCA Achievers, fitness, skill development, time for homework
TRACT 2: $18 members/$23 non-members
3 days – YMCA Achievers, fitness, skill development, time for homework
This year our Teen Camp will be mixed in with Traditional Camp due to the low ratio requirements from the CDC. You may register your teen on our Traditional Camp registration page.
Our goal is to provide High school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to gain experience mentoring and tutoring middle school students. Mentors will provide valuable leadership to younger students 2-4 days per week as well as having opportunities for leadership training and growth for all students. We are now offering this program at West Hall.

• Hosted at Middle School Library from 3:45 – 5:45 PM
Leaders In Training camp is offered throughout the summer for rising 9th and 10th graders. L.I.T.s will participates in weekly swimming and field trips, as well as an end of the year LIT-only trip. They will attend college tours and participate in leadership development activities with their peers. L.I.T.s will be able to lead and interact with younger age groups as Leaders In Training. Teens must register for a minimum of 5 weeks and are required to attend staff training in May. To apply and schedule an interview, please contact Rick Little.
