Camp Pine Mountain at the Georgia Mountains YMCA presents an exhilarating summer day camp experience tailored for upcoming kindergarteners at JA Walters. Immerse your little ones in a world of fun, adventure, and learning from May 28th to June 26th.

Program Details:

• Location: JA Walters, 2455 YMCA Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501.
• Age Requirement: Children must be 4 years old and entering kindergarten in the fall of 2024.
• Dates: May 28th – August 1st(weekly sessions)
• Cost:
  • Members: $145
  • Non-members: $165
  • Plus a one-time $25.00 registration fee.

Camp Guidelines:

• Drop-off and Pick-up: Campers must be dropped off at JA Walters. No transportation from Kilough or Spout Springs will be permitted.

Camp Activities:

• Engaging and age-appropriate activities to foster social, physical, and cognitive development.
• Supervised playtime and group games to encourage teamwork and cooperation.
• Creative arts and crafts projects to spark imagination and self-expression.
• Outdoor adventures exploring the beauty of the Georgia mountains.

Requirements:

• Children must be 4 years old and entering kindergarten in the fall of 2024.
• Must be able to feed themselves and take care of their physical and personal hygiene, including being potty trained.

Pick Up Location: JA Walters

Program Overview: Have your child join our camp after the Summer Seach Program at Chestnut Mountain. Children will be transported to JA Walters after the summer search program to join in on enriching activities, forging friendship and lots of fun.

Camp Activities:

• Arts and Crafts: Explore your creativity through engaging arts and crafts sessions.
• Group Building Activities: Foster teamwork and camaraderie through exciting group activities.
• Outdoor Adventures: Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and partake in outdoor games and challenges.
• Educational Workshops: Stimulate young minds with educational workshops and hands-on learning.

Program Details:

• Timing: The camp will run from June 3rd to June 6th.
• Transportation: Children will be safely transported to Fort JA Walters after the Summer Search program at Chestnut Mountain Elementary.
• Price: The program fee is $57 for members and $65 for non-members.
• Restrictions: Campers involved in the Summer Search programming will not be able to participate in swimming or field trips due to scheduling constraints.
