Helping Survivors Grow Stronger
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a 12-week research-based program that helps cancer survivors regain strength, overcome fatigue, increase flexibility, and connect with other survivors to create a support network. During the 12-week program, survivors and their caregiver(s) will receive a free membership at the Georgia Mountains YMCA. This program is designed to help adult cancer survivors regain their physical and mental health.

The re-occurring 12-week program includes:
- Two 75-90-minute sessions per week
- Cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, balance, and flexibility exercises
- Evaluation of fitness and quality of life assessments before and after participation
- YMCA-certified instructors
